It has come time for my annual vacation - I will be away for two weeks starting from the 9th. I'm sure you'll all miss me terribly.

| cage fights. |

I'm sure many of you will be thrilled to hear that we will be opening the cage up for a trial run on the 15th of November. It will be standing operating procedure - if you'd like to fight, entry is $50, and we'll need to have your entry in by the 8th. First round fights will be posted on the website on the 12th. If things go well, I'll be looking at making this a permanant thing.

For those of you involved, you will have already heard about this, but it was time I put it on public record. The La Cabaña Championships have been indefinitely postponed, and the cage is closed until the case is resolved. It's not something I'm happy about doing, but for the time being, I think it would be safest. |

I'm sure you've all caught the news by now, and the management and staff of La Cabaña all offer their condolences to the family of the victim. The loss of a member of the community is always a tragedy, and even moreso given that we are currently unaware to the motive behind the crime or the culprit.
Despite the current theories as to the culprit, as far as we know so far a therianthrope was not responsible for this crime. The assumptions that this would be the case are completely unfounded, and are in fact insulting to the entire therianthrope community. Therianthropy does not automatically infer a lack of respect for life, human or otherwise. |
